Logistic Manager

ReDriven requires a Logistics expert to manage the flow of goods between our facilities in China and Iroquois Ontario, suppliers, dealers and customers and our office. We are particularly interested in a candidate with international experience and would prefer someone with Chinese shipping experience.

This position requires expert organizational skills, an efficient and professional customer support attitude and experience in the handling, transport and meeting delivery deadlines.

The Logistics Manager works with a high degree of autonomy and therefore must be able to make effective decisions on an independent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sending, accepting and recording the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock to and from China. The incumbent is also expected to ensure the prompt and secure shipment of goods.
  • Working proactively, to make cost effective purchases, control inventory, reduce waste, predict trends and avoid unnecessary delivery delays and supply shortages that could profoundly affect the business.
  • Manage the Logistics team and develop process and procedure to organize and maintain the efficient flow and delivery of product.
  • Coordinates inventory of stock and insures product adjustments are properly applied. Receives, sorts, logs, and distributes all incoming shipments. Identifies, locates, obtains and arranges for shipment of requested replacement parts.
  • Prepares all shipping documents, including bills of lading and manifests in accordance with generally accepted procedures. Arrange for delivery and distribution of merchandise to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules.
  • Prepare purchase orders and place orders according to predetermined schedules or as needed. Follow up on orders as necessary. Ensure on time delivery. Match invoices to purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
  • The ability to effectively negotiate is a key component of this position.
  • Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with vendors and suppliers. Monitor and manage the contracts and agreements to ensure reliable service, cost effectiveness and high quality at all times.
  • Continuously research, source and develop new and alternative suppliers to find best cost/quality relationship, maintain delivery schedules and meet changing business requirements.
  • Keep informed on supply shortages and delays in deliveries of merchandise. Ensure that relevant stakeholders are advised. Coordinate with suppliers to meet business needs by using substitutes or obtaining partial orders and/or back ordering shipments.


  • Progressive experience in an international logistics environment would be preferred.

Software Engineer


  • Provide software development support for the design, documentation, test and production of prototypes, test hardware, and systems.
  • Especially embedded software for the RPI products such as on grid and off grid and hybrid Inverters, and turbine controllers.
  • Provide software development support for PC based application software.
  • Provide software engineering support for RPI’s CRM database.


 Programming languages required as a minimum include C++. Advanced knowledge of serial communications and Ethernet communications protocol a requirement.

Education & Experience:

  • Qualifications for this position include a University degree or college diploma in computer science or related discipline; three (3) years’ programming experience
  • The ability to work in a team environment is important;
  • Well-developed communication, organization, analytical, interpersonal, and self-management skills.
  • Must be adaptable, understand change management and be customer focused.

Dealer Account Manager

This is an immediate, full-time, permanent position that offers an interesting opportunity to develop, build, maintain and manage a number of dealers that sell, install and service our wind turbines throughout the world.  This position requires a highly organized individual able to focus on managing the relationships we have with the dealers assigned to them while optimizing the revenue from each dealer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the revenue generated from the appointed dealers
  • Manage the day to day communications and relationships with the dealers assigned to them,
  • Educate and assist dealers to close more business.
  • Attend trade shows (approximately 2-3 per year) to promote our products and meet dealers locally,
  • Manage the distribution of sales leads, assigning them to the dealer best suited based upon the prospects needs and dealer’s capabilities,
  • Strive to learn and understand the wind turbine marketplace; competition, features and trends (internal training will be provided),
  • Assist dealers by producing systems quotations and sales orders using our internal systems,
  • Assist dealers with planning activities to support the needs of their prospects / customers,
  • In conjunction with the management and marketing teams recruit dealers on the phone as needed to ensure dealer coverage in geographical areas where the available wind energy, government grants and cost of energy support and additional market effort / focus.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
  • Up to 50% travel will be associated with this position

Other Knowledge and Skills:

Ideally and Engineering/Technical degree or at least strong experience in a technical/engineering environment

  • Min 3 year’s experience in selling high value capital goods via channel partners
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with individuals at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work towards deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Strong computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office and (CRM)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment.

Test Technician

ReDriven Power Inc. located in Iroquois Ontario is seeking an Electronics Technician to join the Engineering team.

This is an immediate, full-time, permanent position that offers an interesting work environment, and a talented team of experienced professionals to work with and learn from. This position would be ideal for a recent graduate from a recognized college program.


  • Demonstrated hands on soldering experience
  • Focus on learning and practicing by doing; this position requires a lot of hands on work;
    • Assembly of low volume preproduction circuit boards and hardware, wiring harness, enclosures etc.
    • Soldering experience
    • Testing of prototypes, building/designing test fixtures
    • Troubleshooting to the component level on mixed signal designs

Web Developer

The Web Developer is responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing the ReDriven website and our online customer relationship management system (WindView) and provides technical leadership in the areas of UI, navigation, intuitiveness and functionality. WindView provides customers with real time wind turbine performance metrics. The successful candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of process, solutions and practices to provide technical leadership for our existing projects specifically our WindView project.

  • Implement best practices and design methods
  • Translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications for website development and enhancement

Skill Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and Java server programming is required

Field Technician

The Field Technicians are responsible for providing advanced ‘on the ground’ technical support to the ReDriven Dealer network and our wind turbine customers on a pre and post implementation basis.

This position requires quick response and immediate action based on critical breakdowns, functionality issues and ongoing troubleshooting techniques.

The Field Technicians have specialized knowledge of ReDriven hardware and the application software required to maintain the efficiency and optimum performance of the turbine system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to requests from customer service dispatcher to resolve customer problems, involving hardware and/or software issues, delivering resolution within agreed customer response time targets.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to second line technical support or product engineering.
  • Troubleshoot technical and customer issues using analysis and creative thinking.
  • Commission new product installations and verify customer satisfaction before leaving site, having customer sign their agreement that product is working to current operating parameters…
  • Provide feedback from the field to assist the design and product engineering team in improvements, bug fixes and ongoing technical development.
  • Provide field reports from each visit so that data and information can be tracked and trends established for ongoing improvements.

Job Requirements:

  • Extensive travel throughout North America.
  • Intermediate electrical and mechanical knowledge an asset.
  • Provide helpful, positive image of ReDriven to all customers and ensure customers and dealers are being given accurate and current information.
  • Maintain tools and equipment and keep detailed log of all ReDriven-owned parts.
  • Continually update dispatcher with location, timeframes and estimated completion times of each call so that schedule can be kept current.
  • Keep current in all new product developments and software programs to ensure all systems are running to the current approved field level.
